This Is Waypoint

Waypoint started in our two-car garage in 2012. What began as a space for Darius and a few buddies to work out quickly grew to 12 adults… and 12 kids.

From there, it became clear—this wasn’t just a gym. It was a gathering place. A reset button. A second chance for people who had felt left out of fitness spaces for too long.

In 2013, we opened our first gym in Gig Harbor. In 2019, we moved into our current home in Purdy. For more than 13 years, we’ve helped hundreds of families find strength, confidence, and community—on their terms.

Waypoint is a place for every body, every level, and every age.

Who We Are

We’re Regina and Darius Aldridge—collegiate athletes turned CrossFit coaches, turned community leaders, turned gym owners (and proud parents of three girls). Waypoint isn’t just our work—it’s our purpose.

We’re both Level 2 CrossFit Trainers, certified in CrossFit Kids, and lifelong learners in strength, conditioning, and coaching people of all ages and backgrounds. We bring experience, empathy, and energy to every class, every day.

What We Believe

Waypoint is for every body, every level, and every age. Most gyms say they welcome everyone—we actually mean it.

We’re the land of misfits. A place for people who might not normally walk into a boutique fitness studio or a CrossFit gym.

The only thing required?

Show up. Work hard. Be kind.

Why We’re Different

We don’t just scale workouts.
We scale coaching—to your life, your body, your story.

Our team is trained to see people first. Whether you're a busy mom of three, a grandparent starting over, or someone walking into a gym for the first time in decades—you belong here.

Not sure where to begin? That’s okay. Most people aren’t.
Start with a conversation—no pressure, just people who care.
