    During COVID I was doing home workouts, but I missed being part of a group and having coaching again.

    At 74 years old, Helen proves that strength has no age limit. She’s holding her own in any gym and lifting with confidence, thanks to the structure and support she found at Waypoint. The experience has reminded her of just how capable she really is—mentally and physically.

Waypoint has helped him create structure, stay consistent, and trust the process. And now? He shows up with more confidence in his strength and ability every day.

    Joy has embraced discomfort as a path to growth. She's learned that her limits were mostly in her mind, and now she’s crushing them. Every class, she gets stronger and more confident, setting an example of strength and self-care for her kids.

    Retired home health care worker. I have a special needs adult daughter and I’m doing this for me.

    I needed to do something! I wanted to do something for me and see if I could get stronger.

    Laurie was scared to try a new gym, but she showed up anyway—and it paid off. She’s lost almost 50 pounds, is just 13 pounds from her goal weight, and says she feels strong, motivated, and proud of her progress. The biggest win? Her shape looks “pretty darn good” and she knows she earned it.

    Her story:

    Waypoint has become Diane’s go-to stress relief and source of strength. Early morning classes have become part of her routine, and picking up heavy things is now her favorite way to release stress. She’s proud of showing up at 5:30 AM, staying consistent, and pushing herself more than ever before.

    Driving home after work, Kimberly told herself if the gym lights were still on, she’d stop. They were—and she did.

    Their story:

    Kimberly came in desperate for direction and a change. Since starting, she’s gained confidence, strength, and a new mindset. She’s lifting more weight, staying consistent, and showing up even when it's tough. “I still have FFG (former fat girl) moments,” she says, “but now I have something to be proud of.” Her favorite part? Not giving up and feeling like she belongs.

    At 6 years older and stronger than ever, Gwen’s proving age is just a number. She shows up for the community, the challenge, and the sense of accomplishment she gets with every workout. And now? She’s doing “real” push-ups, even if not quite gracefully yet.
